European data collection company Norstat has appointed Linda Ezera as Managing Director for its Latvia operations, replacing Janis Romanovs, who has moved into the role of Sales Director of Norstat International.
Triton-owned Norstat collects data via large representative proprietary consumer panels, as well as telephone, personal interviews, focus groups, postal and mystery shopping; and delivers it in 'all traditional formats' as well as in visualization dashboards and directly via APIs. In the past year, the company has acquired Oslo, Norway-based firm Polling & Statistics, and Nordic online data supplier Userneeds.
Ezera (pictured) joins in Latvia with more than sixteen years' experience, having most recently founded her own agency, Forta Research. Prior to this, she was Head of Research at planning-led media agency PHD, where she worked for nearly six years and led the gathering and analysis of insights to support communication strategy. Earlier she worked for GfK, latterly leading and managing multiple MR projects.
In her new role, Ezera will lead the local Latvian operations, taking over from Romanovs, who has been with the firm for more than five years. Tue Meier-Poulsen, Regional Director North, comments: 'Linda has strong skills in research methodology combined with the right set of leadership skills and client focus. I am confident that she will successfully lead the team in developing our business in the coming years, and continue to deliver great data quality with excellent client service.'
