Worldpanel Promotes for Mexico Lead Role

Shopper behaviour specialist Kantar Worldpanel has promoted Francisco Luna to Country Manager, leading the division in Mexico.

Luna, who began the new role with the New Year, has more than thirty years of MR industry experience, having led teams and operations in different regions of Latin America. He joined Kantar in 2017, initially directing operations in Peru and then in Bolivia from 2021. Earlier he spent a total of more than eighteen years at what is now Nielsen IQ, in two spells - one in Central America and one (after a two-year break from the company) in Mexico. While at Nielsen he worked as a Client Service Manager, Account Manager, Commercial Director and Client Leader.

He holds a degree in Administration and Finance from Universidad Panamericana de México; a Master's in Management from IPADE (Pan-American Institute of Senior Business Management) and a Diploma in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
