In the UK, subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) insight and data specialist Digital i has promoted Matt Ross to the role of Managing Director. He takes over from interim MD Emma Shelton, who is stepping back from daily operations to concentrate on chairing the firm's Board of Directors.
Founded a decade ago by maths teacher Ali Vahdati, Bristol-based Digital i provides entertainment companies with viewing data, audience insights and analytical platforms. The company has recently added the capability to measure HBO Max viewing data, and has expanded its measurement to cover Latin America, with further plans later this year to cover Disney + and expand into North America and APAC.
Ross (pictured) joined in 2015, and has since held several senior positions, including Head of Insight, and most recently Product Director of the firm's SVOD measurement and analytics platform, SoDA. In his new position, Ross will oversee the further expansion and rollout of this SVOD audience measurement system.
