In London, research tech company Field Notes has appointed Further founder Stephen Cribbett as a Strategic Advisor.
Founded by Flamingo's former Head Of Digital Strategy Dave Kaye and technologist Tim Diggins, Field Notes is a platform for capturing and managing self-shot video from people around the world via their smartphones - whether it's customers, employees, research participants, healthcare professionals or patients. The firm's app and platform are designed to make it simple to capture content, stimulate responses, and communicate with contributors using in-app messaging.
Cribbett (pictured) is the founder of online MR specialist Further (earlier known as Dub), whose qualitative research technology platform was acquired by Toluna last November. He established the business in 2007, and more recently, launched a company called Versiti, to help companies, charities and organisations be more inclusive in the way they serve diverse groups in society. In addition, Cribbett serves as an Advisor to insight and foresight platform Signoi.
At Field Notes, Cribbett will advise the founders and leadership team, and provide support and expertise for the company's growth strategy. Kaye comments: 'Stephen has been on his own founder journey not dissimilar to ours, and built a successful research tech business in Further that we hugely respected. His experience of growing that business and making critical decisions is something we value as we seek to move to the next level.'
