In the US, digital analytics platform Amplitude has appointed former Microsoft exec Nathaniel Crook as Chief Revenue Officer. He takes over from Matt Heinz, who is leaving in mid-May, after a hand-over period.
Amplitude provides visibility into the entire customer journey, helping companies capture data about customer behavior, including understanding how people are using their products. Earlier this month, the firm enhanced its product experiment platform, Amplitude Experiment, to help simplify A/B testing and run concurrent experiments without exposing users to more than one testing scenario at a time.
Crook (pictured) joins with more than two decades of enterprise software sales and engineering experience. Most recently, he led the global go-to-market function at unstructured data specialist Instabase, including sales, marketing, professional services, customer success, and operations. Earlier, he held sales leadership roles at Microsoft, Cisco, and a number of startups.
In his new position, Crook will lead Amplitude's Sales and Partner organizations globally. Company President Thomas Hansen comments: 'Nate has extensive experience in sales and engineering at startup and enterprise-class companies, so he's an ideal fit. His track record of scaling global sales teams, selling to the world's largest companies, and partnering with developer teams to solve problems will help Amplitude unlock the power of its customer's products.'
