In Israel, content discovery and personalisation platform Outbrain has promoted Yonatan Maman to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Andraz Tori to the newly created position of Chief Product Officer.
Outbrain's technology enables online consumers to discover new items through recommendation feeds on their favourite media, and then connects advertisers to these audiences. Maman joined in 2011 as a Senior Software Engineer, and has served as VP Engineering for the past five years. Tori has been Head of Recommendations and Data Science for the past four years, following Outbrain's acquisition of programmatic AdTech firm Zemanta, which he co-founded.
As part of the changes, co-founder and CTO Ori Lahav will focus on cross-company initiatives, while continuing in his role as General Manager, Israel. Both Maman and Tori will report to David Kostman, Co-CEO, who comments: 'Under Ori's esteemed leadership, Yonatan and Andraz have helped transform our engineering team into a world-class technology organisation, built a mature infrastructure fit for supporting our partners, and helped us reach over $1 billion in revenue'.
