In London, research and strategy consultancy MTM has appointed Jonathan Stone as Director and Head of its Technology & Telco practice; Becky Ferguson as Director and Head of the Media & Advertising practice; and Michael Thompson for the newly created role of Head of UX Research.
Founded in 2005 by Ellis and Jon Watts, MTM provides insight and opinion to media, tech, advertising and entertainment brands, through multidisciplinary teams across qual and quant research, market analysis, consultancy and analytics. Stone joins after fourteen years at STRAT7 Incite in New York and London, most recently as Senior Director, Head of Commercial. Ferguson joins after a decade at Ipsos, where she focused on putting together new research tech solutions.
Thompson takes up the new position after working at Sparkler (now part of PA Consulting) as Partner and Head of Qual, and previously holding research director roles at Chime Communications and GfK. In his new role, Thompson is charged with launching a User Experience (UX) Research service.
