In New York, consumer intel giant NielsenIQ (NIQ) has appointed Jacqueline Flam as Senior Vice President Beauty, Drug & OTC Retail.
Acquired by Advent International two years ago and now known as NIQ, the company provides an understanding of consumer buying behavior through an advanced business intelligence platform with integrated predictive analytics. Flam (pictured) joins from pharmaceutical and cosmetics business Pierre Fabre Group, where she worked for twelve years, and latterly served as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to this, she worked for skincare brands Ales Group as Brand Manager / Director Sales & Marketing; and Guinot as Director of Marketing & Sales.
In her new role, Flam will be responsible for helping beauty retailers raise their consumer understanding, while meeting their branding and commerce objectives. Her appointment follows NIQ's launch of the Beauty Trailblazer Program, which aims to provide access to datasets for minority-owned beauty brands in the CPG industry.
Flam comments: 'As a staunch advocate for beauty retailers, this role is a dream come true for me. NIQ empowers retail leaders to tap into the world's most comprehensive and multi-dimensional beauty market and consumer data, enabling them to transform it into insights, innovations, consumer experiences, and commerce opportunities that propel them ahead of the market. This mission is of utmost importance, particularly as the current generation of boundary-free consumers demands more. With NIQ, our beauty retail partners can deliver on those expectations.'
