Ian Brace is to stand down as Chairman of UK market research industry charity the MRBA after twenty years, to be replaced by Motif's Virginia Monk.
Brace, who will also stand down as a trustee, said he felt it was 'time for new blood and new ideas to lead the Association'. During his tenure of the organisation, which helps members of the research profession who have fallen into financial difficulties, the MRBA has introduced a new constitution, in 2006; launched its web site; added the MRBA Skills training programme; and created a Corporate Patrons and Friends scheme - in addition to helping and advising hundreds of people.
Brace also particularly thanks administrator Danielle Scott for her support; and marketing manager Jenni Perry, who is stepping down from the Trustee Board and Management Committee after five years to focus on a new business.
The charity is online at www.mrba.org.uk .
