In the US, connected TV and cross-screen advertising specialist LG Ad Solutions has appointed Michael Hudes as President and Chief Executive Officer. He replaces co-founder and CEO Raghu Kodige, who left last December and was replaced by Adam Sexton as acting CEO.
Previously known as Alphonso, LG Ads helps brands find hard-to-get unduplicated reach across the streaming TV landscape. The company brings together LG's experience in delivering smart TVs to consumers worldwide with big TV audience data and video AI designed to connect brands with audiences across all screens.
Hudes (pictured) joins with a background in the digital and CTV advertising ecosystem. Most recently, he co-founded and was Chief Commercial Officer at Zenapse, a platform for dynamic marketing and CX optimization powered by emotional intelligence and human understanding. Earlier, he held senior roles at organizations including Lyft, YuMe/RhythmOne, Clear Channel, and Organic.
LG Ad Solutions Board Chairman, Matthew Durgin, who also serves as VP at LG Electronics USA, comments: 'Michael's rich experience and proven track record in the digital and CTV advertising sphere makes him an invaluable addition to the LG Ad Solutions leadership team. We've witnessed the strides the company has been making under the existing executive leadership team and we expect to accelerate this momentum even further with Michael at the helm.'
