Customer and employee experience specialist Medallia has appointed Simonetta Turek as Chief Product Officer and a member of the executive leadership team.
Medallia was sold in 2021 to software investment firm Thoma Bravo, also the owner of J.D. Power and now of UserTesting and UserZoom. The firm's enterprise platform, the Medallia Experience Cloud, captures data across in-person, digital, and contact center interactions along with social media, transactional and operational data, allowing for sharing and collaboration across the enterprise in real time.
Turek (pictured) worked most recently as GM of the Customer Experience Products division at Twilio, and before that at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Earlier roles included co-founding DatumOre, which was acquired by Sage Group, Global Head - Digital Products and Services at Syngenta, and Corporate VP at Alcatel-Lucent.
In her new role she will lead product management and design at Medallia, whose CEO Joe Tyrrell comments: 'By adding an experienced, talented leader like Simonetta as our new Chief Product Officer we add a proven innovator to an already accomplished product team. Her passion for customer success, AI, machine learning, and driving results at scale will be invaluable as we accelerate and expand what we bring to our customers'.
