British Out-Of-Home (OOH) measurement body Route has hired Eda Incekara as its first Marketing and Insight Manager, while Aidan West joins from CCData in the new role of Data Engineer, to help automate, 'wrangle' and surface Route's audience data.
Previously known as Postar, Route focuses on measuring advertising in public spaces, allowing users - advertisers, outdoor media owners and media agencies - to track out-of-home audiences across England, Scotland and Wales. Earlier this year, the organisation issued an invitation for partners to design a new OOH measurement system for sites across Great Britain.
Incekara, who joins from Veris Insights, will focus on expanding Route's insight resource, reporting to General Manager Euan Mackay. West, who brings experience in Python and cloud computing, will report to Ian Wyatt, Chief Information Officer. CEO Denise Turner comments: 'We issued an RFP earlier this year for the next contract to start from 2025. We'll soon be announcing the results of that process, with a solution that will take Out-Of-Home audience research in this country to a whole new level. These appointments signal our determination to underpin Route data with a best-in-class audience research capability'.
