European data collection specialist Norstat has appointed Birgit Aasmäe as Managing Director of its business in Estonia.
Since launching in 1997, Norstat has built a panel network of more than two million consumers across nineteen countries. Aasmäe (pictured) has worked as Country Manager and Project Manager at the Estonian market research agency RAIT Faktum & Ariko; in data collection and analytics at Statistics Estonia; and most recently, Aasmäe as Medical Advisor in the pharmaceutical industry at SIA Novartis Baltics.
She replaces Evlin Pae, who previously held the role for more than three years, and is now MD of Olympic Entertainment Group / Olybet. Commenting on the news Norstat's Regional Director North Tue Meier-Poulsen said: 'We are thrilled to welcome Birgit Aasmäe as Managing Director for Norstat Estonia. She has a deep understanding of market research and methodology, and she has a proven track record as a Managing Director in our industry.
