In the UK, the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) has expanded its International Advisory Board with the appointment of Molly Schultz Hafid.
NatCen's global arm draws upon the International Advisory Board's expertise to work on a range of social policy issues and meet its mission to enable societies to shape policy and practice globally. New York-based Schultz Hafid is the Executive Director of the Butler Family Fund, a foundation which seeks lasting solutions to homelessness and an equitable criminal legal system. She also manages a consulting practice, providing strategic guidance on grant making, next-generation engagement, and organizational development.
Separately, she is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at New York University's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and works part-time at The New School's Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy, teaching strategic philanthropy and fundraising to graduate students.
Sherine El Taraboulsi-McCarthy, Director of NatCen International, comments: 'We are delighted that Molly Schultz Hafid is joining our International Advisory Board. NatCen International has grown significantly over the past two years and this is a very exciting time for us. Molly is an exceptional thought leader on philanthropy and grant making in the US and globally. Her insights will be invaluable in helping us refine our strategic focus and expand our impact and our networks'.
