We are 25! On 29th Nov 1998 the first job ad appeared on mrweb.com. We're celebrating with the relaunch of our directories, under a new brand and with an ambitious new approach; and with Thank You's to our regular advertisers and some special offers for new ones.
Back in November '98 the site already had free listings of MR agencies, and desk research resources, but had been more like a hobby - with the job ads it became a busines, with an income stream. DRNO joined just over a year later.
The company has survived and prospered, including through recent difficult economic times, funded entirely by advertising, and is widely recognised as publisher of the one comprehensive and detailed daily industry news update worldwide. We're relentlessly focused on quality and delivery - on the latter, with the exception of public holidays and Christmas week, we last missed a night in 2007 - but we're also very grateful to our supporters, in particular the long-term advertisers who in many cases have backed us for three, five or even ten consecutive years. At times, despite sticking fairly closely to our advertised prices, the DRNO email has all ten advertising slots sold out.
To celebrate our quarter century, we're going to thank these regulars with an even higher profile on the site and in the emails this year, and we're hoping to attract a greater than usual number of new advertisers with some special anniversary packages.
Please see details of these offers here www.mrweb.com/2024ads and think about helping us celebrate. You're guaranteed brand safety in this long-running, closely-focused b2b publication, and with 10,000 highly engaged daily opt-in subscribers at the senior end of the research and analytics profession around the globe, you're guaranteed a quality audience and a boost to your brand awareness of a kind you can't get anywhere else.
We look forward to hearing from you. More about the new-style directory in the next week or two - we'd say Watch This Space but we know from your fantastic feedback that most of you do, quite closely. Thanks to all of you for reading and helping to make DRNO what it is today!
