System1 Hires for US and Global Growth

British-based ad impact measurement and forecasting specialist System1 Group Plc has appointed Mike Perlman as Chief Commercial Officer and Alex Banks as SVP of business development for The Americas.

Mike Perlman and Alex BanksFounded in 2000 as BrainJuicer by CEO John Kearon, the firm changed its name to System1 in 2017, and now has operations in Europe, North America, Brazil, Singapore and Australia. It now focuses on ad impact science and describes itself as 'the Creative Effectiveness Platform', and ten months ago it launched a new service called Test Your Ad Digital, to predict and improve the commercial impact of digital advertising. Over the last nine months the firm says it has added more than 200 new clients, with platform revenues up 46% year-on-year.

The latest hires are intended to drive the company's next stage of US and global growth. Perlman (pictured top), based in Massachusetts, is a twenty-year veteran of MR and analytics who served as Chief Revenue Officer at both TVision and Jumpshot, and also worked in senior roles at Comscore, Millward Brown and Compete. In his new role, he will take global responsibility for commercial functions across the business, in partnership with Chief Customer Officer Jon Evans.

Miami-based Banks (pictured below) also brings more than twenty years' experience, including a decade at Comscore leading the US and international sales teams and as MD Latin America; and eight years at The Economist in New York. Most recently he spent two years as Head of Sales at video platform Vyond and two in sales and advisory roles at Tvision. In his new position he is responsible for expanding System1's client and partner base across the USA and Latin America.
