Insights and experience tech company PG Forsta has appointed Mike Thompson as Chief Analytics Officer, and says he will drive the development of new AI-driven capabilities and products, following the company's commitment to invest $500 million in the area over five years.
Forsta was formed three years ago following the merger of research software firms Confirmit and FocusVision, and after being acquired by healthcare experience specialist Press Ganey a year later, is known as PG Forsta. The company provides technology and expertise to help organizations get a deeper, more complete understanding of the experiences of their audiences, via its HX (Human Experience) Platform, which facilitates and integrates MR, CX, employee and patient experience for companies in healthcare, financial services, technology and other sectors.
Thompson (pictured) brings more than thirty years' experience to the role, including innovation in analytics strategy, and the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare. He joins from Cedars-Sinai Health System where he led advancements in data warehousing, data science and applied AI, helping to found the company's AI Validation lab. Earlier he held data and analytics leadership roles at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, SunTrust Banks, IPS-Sendero and ProfitStars.
Darren Dworkin, PG Forsta's President and COO, comments: 'Technologies like generative AI can improve the experiences of people across every industry. Mike's expertise will enable us to double down on our focus to deliver innovations that ensure the right information is available at the right time, in the right place, for the right people'.
