Kantar, has appointed James Lavell in the new role of Chief Commercial Officer for its Profiles Division - the group's Centre of Expertise for panel management as well as home to its portfolio of custom research services.
The Profiles division uses proprietary panels and 'next-gen' sampling and anti-fraud technology, promising rapid, high quality data for custom survey solutions and quick decision-making.
Lavell brings a wealth of commercial experience, joining from Altrata which is a division of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC, and where he was global CEO. Earlier he worked as CEO of Euromoney's IMN and Derivatives businesses and COO at Institutional Investor in New York; and he has served as an in-house consultant for firms including British Telecom, Equifax and AC Nielsen. In his new role, based in London, he will play a key role in growing the group's roster of enterprise clients, and expanding its market presence across new sectors.
