In London, independent social and market research agency IFF Research has announced sixteen promotions, including five to the rank of Director, following a record year and the recent launch of a new career framework.
IFF was established in 1965 as a specialist full service b2b agency, but now provides customised research solutions for the private, public and voluntary sectors under eight headings: Business and Enterprise; Energy and Environment; Higher Education; Financial Services; Housing; Learning & Skills; Regulation; and Work, Welfare and Wellbeing. The firm boasts some of the longest serving researchers in the industry, as well as having provided DRNO's Nick Thomas with his only 'proper job' back around 1990.
Among the promotions, quallie Maya Agur is now a Research Director, focused on theory-based evaluation approaches and evaluations of large and complex interventions, especially in the education policy arena. Others rising to the rank of Director include Nicola Wildash, Sam Selner, Sophie Elliott and Christa Downing, while Yasmin White becomes an Associate Director.
MD Jan Shury comments: 'We're really proud of our development pathway that has seen so many of our team develop through the ranks from junior researchers to research directors. We put a strong emphasis on how we nurture and retain talent and it's great to see 16 of our team get the recognition they deserve. Many congratulations to all our promotees, and sincere thanks for their ongoing efforts'.
