In the US, Luth Research has appointed Stephen Montgomery as its new Senior Vice President of Research, with a remit that includes driving innovative methodologies and enhancing the company's research capabilities.
San Diego-based Luth was established in the 1970s and uses proprietary technology and other research methods including an online panel, SurveySavvy, to help businesses track emerging trends, measure message effectiveness, and understand how consumers think and act.
Montgomery (pictured) brings more than two decades of experience in market research and insights, including recent roles as Vice President of Consumer & Product Insights at NBCUniversal, and with a focus on customer experience and product-oriented research in the media and CPG sectors. His achievements include launching Peacock's UX/CX insights function and HBO Now's subscriber tracking initiatives, and helping legacy brands like TIME and Sports Illustrated evolve for new platforms.
In his new job he will play a key role in growing the firm's footprint in media, ad momentum and audience/consumer journey insights, as well as 'continuing to raise the bar' for traditional methodologies such as customer satisfaction, segmentation and concept testing.
CEO Roseanne Luth comments: 'Steve's 20+ years of experience in the research field will contribute greatly as he works with the research and sales team to oversee research and project management, including the development and implementation of new strategies'.
