Stockholm-based insights and collaboration platform Stravito has appointed former Burberry Insights Engagement Lead Ross Dempsey as Director of Insights Engagement; Monica Öberg as VP of People, and former Mintel exec Victoria Welvaert as Account Executive.
Stravito's platform gives clients - mostly large corporations - a simple way to store, discover and integrate market and consumer insights, putting findings into the hands of employees worldwide. The company was founded in Sweden in 2017 and today has more than 90 employees in bases in Stockholm, London and Amsterdam, as well as in the US where it is growing rapidly.
Dempsey (pictured top) brings more than ten years of experience, most recently from clothing brand and Stravito client Burberry, where he ran the Burberry Insight Hub during a four-year stint; and earlier at Sky where during six and a half years he rose from Senior Insight News Editor to Insight Engagement and Communications Controller. He studied journalism and worked in the field for nearly five years before joining Sky.
Öberg (pictured middle) joins after eighteen months as Chief HR Officer at Swedish tech company ClimateView, and before this worked in talent and HR roles in a number of companies. Earlier in her career she spent eleven years at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, which she joined as a Catering/CS Manager in 1997.
Welvaert (pictured below) spent more than a decade at consumer intelligence firm Mintel, including work in the EMEA commercial team.
Founder and CEO Thor Olof Philogène comments: 'Stravito is in a fast period of growth and Ross, Monica and Victoria are joining at an exciting stage in our trajectory. I'm thrilled to bring on their stellar industry experience and confident their expertise will help more of the world's largest organizations discover and integrate business critical insights to make informed decisions'.
The firm, which last month launched an AI-based 'insights companion' called Stravito Assistant, is online at www.stravito.com .
