New Jersey-based Russell Research has appointed Sean Jecko as Vice President of Qualitative Research, with additional responsibilities as a Senior Account Executive.
Russell Research conducts custom qual and quant work in sectors including CPG, financial services, pharma, media, retail and technology, drawing on principles from consumer psychology and behavioral science. The firm employs around 80 people.
Jecko (pictured) brings more than twenty years' experience of finding and using insights to inform business strategies, the last eleven of them running his own qualitative insights consultancy. Earlier he worked in brand planning and strategy roles at advertising agencies - six years rising to Brand Planning Group Head at The Richards Group, then five at McKinney in roles including Group Strategy Director and Associate Director of Planning. He is also a highly experienced moderator among consumer and B2B audiences, and has worked on this for many of Russell Research's clients. He holds a Master's degree in Communications from the Brandcenter at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and a BA in Psychology from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN.
