Agency alliance the Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research (WIN) has appointed a new board including RED C's Richard Colwell as President. The election took place during the group's annual conference and AGM held in Bali.
WIN is a global network of independent market research and polling companies, aiming 'to work together to ensure insight driven decisions and innovation bring prosperity to business and society'. It has also conducted multi-country surveys and opinion polls since 2018, measuring opinion on current topics such as gender equality, health, climate change and sustainability.
40 of the group's members attended the Bali conference, to discuss the topic of Evolution and Empathy in the world of market research, with a focus of the challenges and opportunities afforded by AI. Members span 41 countries (as listed on https://winmr.com/members ) and include ORB International in the UK and Leger (whose CEO Jean-Marc Léger is the Principal founder of WIN) in the US and Canada.
Colwell is CEO of RED C Research Group, which has offices in Dublin and London. He succeeds Doxa Italy's Vilma Scarpino, who served as President for seven years and will continue to contribute in an ex-officio role. The other members, elected for the next three years, are:
