Manchester-based research agency Mustard has hired Claire Borthwick, formerly of Hall & Partners Australia, as Associate Director, while Kate Bedford joins from B2B International as Research Manager.

Claire Borthwick and Kate BedfordMustard combines 'thinking, technology and storytelling' to help clients in a range of sectors, but with a focus on leisure, grocery/FMCG, retail and financial services.

The appointments follow a series of new client wins. Bedford (pictured below) spent five years at B2B International, specialising in quantitative research and analytical techniques and with a focus on the med tech, education and energy sectors. In her new role she will lead Mustard's continued development of its analytical and data science offerings.

MD Colin Auton says the firm is thrilled to welcome both newcomers. He comments: 'Enhancing our offer in both behavourial insights and data science is very much a focal part of our strategy. With their method and client savviness, confidence and realness, they're already contributing in making a difference for our clients, and we look forward to seeing further evidence of this as they fully settle into their careers with us'.
