Customer engagement platform Emplifi, which combines VoC and social media monitoring, has appointed Jennifer Brooks as Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing its revenue operations, and building and leading the global sales team.
Emplifi was formed four years ago when US-based customer engagement software and Voice of the Customer (VoC) platform Astute acquired social media monitoring and marketing specialist Socialbakers, with the new name adopted nine months later. The firm provides a full suite of integrated social media marketing, social commerce, customer care and analytics tools on a platform used by around 20,000 clients.
Brooks joins from private-equity-backed digital asset licensing company Monotype, where she spent seven years, latterly as CRO. Earlier she held senior sales roles at Olapic and Pitney Bowes - at the latter she was VP of Global eCommerce Sales, leading all recruitment, hiring and training efforts. Prior to this she founded web development firm Magnetic, eventually sold to Bridgeline Digital, where she served for three years as SVP of Enterprise Business Development.
Emplifi says the hire comes as it 'moves into an accelerated growth phase'. CEO Ohad Hecht comments: 'Jennifer's impressive background in global business management and her proven ability to scale organizations strategically and tactically align perfectly with our ambitions. Her record-leading, high-growth revenue teams speak for themselves. Jennifer's customer-centric approach, combined with her SaaS industry expertise, makes her the perfect leader to take our customers' success to the next level'.
