In Montreal, market research firm Leger has appointed Sébastien Dallaire, previously First Vice President for Canada and General Manager of Quebec for Ipsos, as EVP for Eastern Canada.
Established almost forty years ago, Leger is the largest Canadian-owned market research and analytics company, with more than 600 employees in eight offices there and in the US.
Dallaire (pictured) brings around twenty years' experience in public opinion and market research, with 'an unparalleled understanding of Canadian and Quebec society', according to the firm. He worked for five years as a Senior Associate at research firm The Strategic Counsel, before joining Leger as a VP in 2010, spending around five and a half years with the company in this earlier stint. Since January 2016 he has worked at Ipsos, initially as a VP in the Public Affairs team and since June 2018 in the First VP and GM role.
President and CEO Jean-Marc Léger comments: 'Sébastien is one of the most talented researchers in Canada, known for his methodological expertise and his ability to understand clients' needs. He is also a dynamic and well-respected leader in the industry who will help Leger continue to grow'.
