In South Africa, conversational AI research firm Hello Ara has appointed former C Space researcher and Culture Foundry consultant Priscilla Seddon (Daniel) as Account Director for Africa.
Hello Ara is headquartered in London and Cape Town and was founded in 2020. The firm integrates research into 'comfortable and engaging' environments so as to enhance the respondent experience and the quality / depth of insights. In March last year it opened a customisable multi-room immersive research environment, and earlier this summer it announced an environment for the conduct of qual studies within the Roblox gaming system.
The firm says the latest hire underlines its commitment to growth and innovation across the African market. Seddon has worked in Africa, the UK and the US in research, consulting and strategy, most recently for four years at global consumer insights agency The Culture Foundry Co., and earlier for seven and a half years as a Senior Consultant and latterly Business Partner at C Space, originally known as Promise Communispace.
In her new role she will lead Hello Ara's efforts in leveraging advanced technologies like AI-powered chatbots, GenAI analytics, and Metaverse-based research to drive insights and meaningful change for clients. The firm says it is 'confident that Priscilla's expertise will help drive growth and new opportunities throughout Africa'.
