Strategic advisory firm Brunswick Group has appointed former Gallup Editor-in-Chief Mohamed Younis as Partner and Global Head of Insight, based in San Francisco.
Brunswick's clients are 'large, complex organisations' facing 'critical issues and critical stakeholders at the center of business, politics and society' - the firm helps them understand trends, issues and people; and respond to and plan for them.
At Gallup, Younis oversaw major global and regional studies on social, political and economic issues, most recently as Editor-in-Chief - in this role he was responsible for US polling, including presidential approval trends, as well as global content and media strategy for Gallup News. He joined Gallup in 2009 as a Senior Consultant.
In his new role, Younis will take charge of Brunswick Insight, the firm's global public opinion, market research and analytics function. CEO Henry Timms welcomed him to the company, stating: '[Mohamed] will be a fantastic leader of our Insight team, which plays such an important role in providing the data and analysis that act as the foundation of our advice. His experience will be invaluable to clients as they navigate the most complex issues of the day'.
