Consumer researcher Focus Insights has appointed former Europanel and Kantar exec Abhi Roy as Chief Client Officer EMEA, based in the UK.
Headquartered in Australia and led by CEO Deane Hubball, Focus provides qual and quant research in the consumer goods, pharmacy and hardware sectors - including sensory testing, in-store intercepts, brand tracking, concept testing and market validation.
Roy (pictured) brings 25 years of experience of market research, client consulting and business development in the UK, the middle east and India. He has spent most of the last three years at Kantar as Senior Growth and Client Relationship Director. Earlier he spent more than five years as International Consumer Insight Director at Europanel, nine as Group Account Director at TNS Middle East and Africa, and three at IMRB International. More recently he has worked at Zinklar, and at Future Thinking for whom he led a new Dubai office.
