Amsterdam AD for Opinium

London-based insight agency Opinium has appointed former 2CV researcher Jamal Khadar as a qual-focused Associate Director, based in the group's Amsterdam office.

Founded in 2007, Opinium also has offices in New York and Cape Town, and in addition to opinion polling works for clients in multiple sectors on projects including brand and communications, product, customer, employee and thought leadership.

Khadar (pictured) worked for more than six years at London agency 2CV as a Research Manager, then between 2016 and 2020 as a Director and Researcher at cultural insights, trends and qualitative research agency Copasetic, later known as Copa. Since 2020 he has worked as a freelance researcher and writer, and for the last three years has also been a Radio Host and Producer at music station NTS. In 2013 he received the MRS President's medal - which is awarded annually to an organisation or individual that has made an extraordinary contribution to research - in collaboration with Girl Hub Rwanda, for a joint effort to invest in the Girl Research Unit (GRU) in Rwanda.
