Insights Family Founder to Lead New Ventures Unit

Kids, teens, parents and families researcher The Insights Family has launched a new unit called TIF Labs, to explore opportunities for the business through new ventures and innovation. Insights Family founder Nick Richardson will lead the new business as CEO.

Nick RichardsonRichardson (pictured) set up the group in 2017 and has served as its CEO, overseeing five years of triple digit growth - revenues now exceed £4m - and expansion to a total of 22 countries. Earlier this year the company unveiled NextGen Insights, which will focus on the attitudes, behaviour and consumption of 19-30-year-olds, thus tracking its original target group as it moved into young adulthood.

The new TIF Labs will explore opportunities including potential acquisitions, partnerships and developments in new technology. Richardson says the move is 'a wonderful opportunity ... to uncover and explore other opportunities to build and protect the companies' IP and diverse future revenues, whilst The Insights Family leadership team focus on delivering our plans'.

Simon White, Chairman of The Insights Family, adds: 'In recognition of Nick's talents and to ensure we continue pushing the boundaries of innovation, TIF Labs will serve as a dedicated space to explore non-BAU innovation opportunities and drive creative thinking for the future of our business.
