Consumer insight provider InSites Consulting has changed its name to Human8, defining itself as a 'human-driven consultancy, connecting brands with people and culture to drive positive change'.
The Ghent, Belgium-based firm was founded in 1997 and boasts a rich heritage in building and applying online communities, recently developed into a wider range of services and solutions. InSites has acquired no fewer than nine agencies since Mentha Capital invested at the end of 2018, and now boasts a significant presence in the USA (about one third of revenue), EMEA (almost half) and APAC (one fifth) - with more than 900 employees spread over 23 offices.
The company says its new brand positioning is built upon the client insight that brands want to understand the 'richness of people and their lives', combined with a need for more than just data, interpretation and a point-of-view on future opportunities. While the group name has changed, its brand consultancy Space Doctors will continue to operate as a sub-brand under the new Human8 parent brand.
CEO Kristof De Wulf (pictured) explains: 'With Human8 we bring a new portfolio to the market, we bring a new promise to brands and we bring a new purpose to our people across the globe. With Human8 we bring together insights and strategy via our enhanced consultative layer and activation methods, turning insights into strategy, actions and transformation journeys'.
