US-based online survey and analysis tool provider SurveyGizmo has partnered with customer experience analytics specialist ClickTale to add survey heatmaps, mouse tracking and respondent recordings to its solutions.
Founded in 2006 and based in Boulder, Colorado, SurveyGizmo offers software for the creation and distribution of online surveys. Last month, the firm reported a 54% increase in revenues to $5.2m for the year 2011.
ClickTale tracks customers' online behavior through every mouse move, click and scroll to create playable videos of customers' entire browsing sessions, as well as visual heatmaps and behavioral reports which are designed to complement traditional web analytics.
SurveyGizmo will also integrate ClickTale's 'Form Analytic' solution, to help clients identify specific survey questions that prompt users to leave a survey, the time spent answering each question, and those questions that tend to cause problems for respondents.
Christian Vanek, SurveyGizmo's CEO, comments: 'Survey fatigue has become a major concern among researchers, making optimization even more important now. This integration gives our customers deep insights into the survey taking process and experience - allowing them to field more specific surveys to fewer customers, and avoid burnout.'
