Online research software provider Confirmit has reported a buoyant first quarter for the year with more than $15m in revenues, and strong growth in mobile solutions following its acquisition of Techneos.
Confirmit bought Vancouver-based Techneos, which provides mobile data collection capabilities to MR firms and end clients, in September last year, incorporating its solutions into the Horizons reporting tool. Confirmit now says its Q1 revenue from mobile solutions increased 34 percent year-on-year.
CEO and President Henning Hansen told DRNO the fourth quarter is always Confirmit's biggest, but that the latest Q1 revenue figure was pleasing and the company maintains 'very healthy' EBIT margins, strong cashflow and a very strong cash position. Hansen added: 'We think we are in a strong position to play a significant role in the consolidation of the marketplace.'
Other Q1 highlights include 100 percent platform uptime for the Confirmit Horizons on-demand web-based data collection platform; a high renewal rate including a number of seven figure contracts; continued customer acquisition and expansion across numerous markets; and the launch of a new Global Solutions team. The firm is also scheduling a series of roadshows this month and next, featuring analysts and industry experts discussing Voice of the Customer and mobile best practices.
Confirmit has its headquarters in Oslo, and offices in Cologne, Guildford, London, Moscow, New York, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Yaroslavl. Web site: www.confirmit.com .
