Beyond Analysis Hires Ad Man for Strategy Role

UK-based behavioural insights firm Beyond Analysis has appointed ad agency veteran David O'Hanlon as Strategy Director, with a brief to identify new products and oversee the development and execution of client strategies.

David O'HanlonFounded in 2007 by former dunnhumby directors Paul Alexander and William Beresford, Beyond Analysis uses transaction data to provide clients with a holistic view of their customers' lives. Its Customer DNA (C-DNA) solution enables businesses to translate lifestyle, demographic, and affluence measures into consumer segments, while its Valve service offers customer grouping based on value and engagement with the brand.

O'Hanlon (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' strategic planning experience. Most recently, he served as European Planning Partner at McCann Erickson, where he was responsible for the MasterCard Europe account. Prior to this, his ad agency career included stints at HHCL, J. Walter Thompson and Still Price Lintas. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and worked in finance for seven years prior to his career in advertising.
