Prodege Announces Sampling Platform and Hires

Online panel provider Prodege has launched a sampling technology platform called Prodege MR, and appointed former uSamp executives Dave Gaston and Kris Tarbet as Vice Presidents of Sales, and Daniel Ross as VP of Product Management.

El Segundo, California-based Prodege, which was founded in 2006 by Josef Gorowitz, is also the parent company of Swagbucks, which offers users a virtual currency for taking surveys; consumer polling specialist SodaHead; and video discovery site nCrave.com.

Gaston joins the new Prodege MR business with more than three decades of market research experience. Most recently, he was SVP Sales overseeing the east coast at Innovate MR, prior to which he spent more than fifteen years with uSamp and Greenfield Online, and worked for Yankelovich Partners and NFO. Tarbet also joins from Innovate MR, where he oversaw west coast sales and business development, and he brings more than fifteen years' experience from work at JD Power and Associates, SSI and uSamp.

Ross spent more than five years at uSamp, having previously worked at MySpace, Greenfield Online and Go Zing. In his new role, he oversees all processes and sampling practices at the product and technology level.
