In London, Kantar public sector division TNS BMRB has promoted Mark Peters to the position of Managing Director, and Sarah Cheesbrough to Head of Policy.
Peters (pictured) has worked for the firm since 1999, most recently as its Director of Research and before this leading the BMRB Education Policy Group. Earlier, he spent four years as an SRE at Public Attitude Surveys (PAS). His background includes directing large scale research, policy evaluations and longitudinal studies for central government and academia, and he has also managed large multi-disciplinary teams and a wide range of client relationships.
Commenting on the appointment, TNS BMRB Chief Exec Desiree Lopez said: 'Mark has built a highly successful Policy practice within TNS BMRB. As he continues to develop his career, I know we will continue to benefit from his strategic, technical and leadership skills. I look forward to supporting him in his new role.'
Cheesbrough will now lead the firm's portfolio of research for clients across government and the public sector. She joined the company in 2013 with more than twenty years' experience of working in research for policy development and evaluation. Her career began at the Office for National Statistics and includes a former role as Director of Housing, Planning and Development Research at Ipsos MORI.
