Ipsos has appointed Millward Brown Vermeer founding partner Oscar Yuan as President of its insights-based brand and marketing advisory unit Strategy3.
The unit provides a multi-disciplinary marketing strategy team, headquartered in Austin, TX with additional offices in New York and London. This team helps clients solve business and marketing issues through a combination of research methods, design thinking and brand strategy.
Yuan (pictured) was Head of Brand at Millward Brown Vermeer, and played a key role in the merger between Millward Brown Optimor and Effective Brands. Prior to this he was VP, Sales and Marketing at travel firm Atlantis Events; Director of Brand Strategy at Interbrand; and a Strategic Planner at TBWA\Worldwide.
In his new role, Yuan is tasked with expanding the Ipsos Strategy3 team, and broadening the unit's offering in consumer understanding, innovation and brand strategy. Pierre Le Manh, CEO of Ipsos in North America, says Yuan has 'an exceptional drive and a proven track record of building high-performing teams'.
