In the US, enterprise self-serve analytics specialist ThoughtSpot has appointed Sudheesh Nair as Chief Executive Officer. He replaces co-founder Ajeet Singh, who becomes Executive Chairman, leading the user experience, product and engineering functions.
The firm's analytics platform offers a Google-like search to analyze complex, large-scale enterprise data and connect with any on-premise, cloud, big data or desktop data source. Singh is the co-founder and former Chief Product Officer of enterprise cloud platform Nutanix, and Nair (pictured) joins from Nutanix where he served as President, responsible for leading the sales organization. Prior to this, Nair held various sales leadership positions at IBM-XIV, DDN, ONStor and Zambeel.
Commenting on the appointment, Singh said: 'I am thrilled to partner with Sudheesh again as he joins us today as CEO. He's an incredibly talented executive with a proven track record of growing a disruptive technology company from zero to over a billion dollars in revenue. Sudheesh's unbelievable energy, drive, and passion for rapidly growing and scaling businesses will be huge assets as we take ThoughtSpot to the next level'.
