Maru Group's customer experience specialist Maru/edr has been renamed 'Maru/Matchbox UK', in a bid to better integrate the group's multi-market offer and technology across its North American, Latin American and European offices.
Tech-enabled MR business Maru Group was founded in 2016 and is led by former Synovate/Ipsos Global CEO Ged Parton. The group's first acquisition was of UK-based eDigitalResearch (edr), which was then renamed Maru/edr. Later that year, Maru/Matchbox was formed when the group acquired Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division.
Maru/edr's move to the Maru/Matchbox UK name follows the recent rebranding of the group's Latin American business Maru/Moto, which changed its name to Maru/Matchbox last month. Gary Topiol (pictured), Maru/Matchbox UK, CEO, comments: 'We're excited to strengthen our relationship with our sister companies in both North and South America and look forward to bringing an increasing pace of insight innovation to both our clients and the wider marketplace.'
