Digital research and marketing analytics firm MetrixLab has promoted Thijs Elias to the role of Chief Executive Officer, replacing co-founder Jan Willem Gerritsen, who left the company in January. The position has since been held on an interim basis by Scott Ernst, Global CEO of parent company Macromill.
Elias (pictured) most recently served as EVP of Global Development, having worked for MetrixLab since 2000. He was one of the company's earliest recruits - initially working as Commercial Director, before moving to MD, UK and later becoming Global Commercial Director. In his new role, Elias takes over the CEO position from Gerritsen, who co-founded MetrixLab in 1999.
Ernst says Elias is 'the perfect candidate' for the role: 'He has worked for the company for almost two decades, and in that time he's proven his commercial acumen, developed an excellent understanding of the business and earnt the admiration of the team, so I'm confident he is the right person to ensure healthy business growth in the future'.
A part of the Macromill Group for the last four years, the company is online at www.metrixlab.com .
