In the US, Emeryville, California-based research consultancy Greenberg Strategy has been acquired by the Lieberman Research Worldwide Group (LRW). Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Greenberg offers qual and quant research, and uses what it calls a 'WholeHuman' approach combining 'emotional, rational and instinctual responses' to find the drivers of behavior and promote 'measurable, actionable business success'. The company joins LRW Group under the name LRWGreenberg, expanding the group's breadth of services for businesses in Silicon Valley and beyond.
This is LRW's seventh acquisition in the last eighteen months, with the list including insights and strategy firm Kelton Global; customer experience and culture design firm Strativity; and visual communications agency Keller Visual Strategies.
Founder Andrew Greenberg (pictured), who will remain with the company as CEO of LRWGreenberg, comments: 'By joining LRW Group's network of companies, and with access to a broader set of capabilities, we see big opportunities to deepen relationships with our current partners and to expand our relationships to businesses in CPG, financial services, media and other industries. It's an excellent fit with clear benefits for both Greenberg Strategy and LRW'.
