Consumer analytics technology firm PriceSpider has acquired pricing data specialist ORIS Intelligence for an undisclosed sum.
ORIS offers a cloud-based platform which delivers near real-time analytics into pricing inconsistencies and unauthorized sellers across online channels. The solution watches and enforces minimum advertised price (MAP) everywhere clients' products are sold online. Its new owner PriceSpider uses proprietary technology to collect data from thousands of eCommerce sites and provide analytics covering product data and purchase decisions, plus competitive comparisons.
