In London, Westminster-based agency ComRes has been renamed 'Savanta ComRes', following its recent acquisition by Savanta, the insights and intelligence division of Next Fifteen Communications.
Founded in 2003 by Chairman Andrew Hawkins and with offices in London, Brussels and Shanghai, the company now known as Savanta ComRes provides evidence-led advice to inform reputation, public policy and communication strategies, while its Faith Research Centre offers research into religion and belief. The company was a founding member of the British Polling Council, and regularly conducts polls for the BBC, ITV and Sky News, the Daily Mail and The Independent.
In the summer, the firm was acquired by Savanta, which was formed earlier this year through the merger of Next Fifteen Communications' research agencies Morar HPI, VIGA, Charterhouse and Circle. Roger Perowne (pictured), Global CEO of Savanta, comments: 'Our teams have been working closely together since July and we're delighted to announce that from today, all future activity will come under the Savanta ComRes name. Savanta ComRes is an election and data specialist, who helps clients cut through the noise and quickly get to the heart of insights.'
