In the UK, Matt Kirby, co-founder of creative insight agency bob's your uncle, has joined the Insight Leaders research collective.
Formed in May by five independent consultants, the group offers clients the opportunity to work with director-level qual and quant researchers, but without being subject to high agency overhead fees. They all work as independent consultants, with their own brands, but join forces with other Insight Leaders when projects would benefit from collaboration and cross-discipline research expertise.
Kirby (pictured) joins founders Brett Templeton, Clive Ellis, Kate Halliday, Juliet Strachan and Pamela Green, who say he will further expand their qualitative and ethnography capabilities. A former Partner at HPI and Research Director at Hall & Partners in New York, Kirby has worked with all of the other Insight Leaders previously, and has built his own agency for the past seventeen years.
