Global consumer agency InSites Consulting has acquired Asia-based insight community specialist ABN Impact for an undisclosed sum.
Founded ten years ago as abn Research by former RI exec Brooke Courtenay and former Synovate leader Maz Amirahmadi (pictured), the firm has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Seoul and the Philippines. As part of the deal, which is InSites Consulting's fifth in the past two years, former ABN Impact CEO Amirahmadi becomes CEO of ABN Impact | InSites Consulting; and Scott Lee, former Chief Client Officer at ABN Impact, becomes Senior Client Partner. The InSites Consulting group will operate under the brand ABN Impact | InSites Consulting in Asia, while InSites Consulting Australia remains the brand for the Australian market.
InSites' co-founder and CEO Kristof De Wulf comments: 'Asia remains the world's most dynamic place, being the home to almost 60% of the world population with a median age of just above 30 and leading the pace in many aspects of the digital revolution. Hence, it comes as no surprise that our global clients are investing heavily in the region to drive their global growth ambitions. With the acquisition of ABN Impact, we can further support these clients more effectively'.
InSites bought UK-based insight community specialist Join the Dots in July.
