Comscore has promoted Carol Hinnant to the position of Chief Revenue Officer, after fifteen years with the business.
Hinnant (pictured) originally joined film and TV measurement firm Rentrak as SVP, National Television Sales in 2006. Since Rentrak's acquisition by Comscore, she has served as SVP and later EVP, National Sales, leading Comscore's national television relationships and more recently, focusing on the company's digital operations. Earlier in her career she held senior roles with Q Television Network, Great American Country and Home Box Office.
In her new position, Hinnant will guide Comscore's revenue-generating operations across the global digital, television and cross-platform business, and will serve as a member of the company's executive leadership team. She will now focus more on the execution and implementation of the firm's global digital, TV, and cross-platform strategy, in areas such as OTT, addressable, premium video ad, and content measurement.
She will report to Chris Wilson, Chief Commercial Officer, who comments: 'Over the course of her tenure, Carol has been instrumental to Comscore's strength in television, and she has done a great job this past year leading the firm's relationships with our digital customers, I am thrilled to welcome Carol to the executive team and am confident this organizational change will drive our success this year and beyond'.
