Change of CEO at Nepa

P-O Westerlund has been named CEO of Sweden-based brand tracking and consumer science firm Nepa AB, replacing Fredrik Östgren who leaves the company with immediate effect.

Nepa is headquartered in Stockholm, with offices in Norway, Finland, Denmark, the UK, the USA and India. Westerlund joined the company in 2009 and was responsible for international sales and expansion until 2015 when he became CFO. Before joining he spent eight years as Head of M&A and IR at Nasdaq OMX-listed A-Com AB, the Nordic region's largest marketing communications company, helping to return it to profit; and co-founded and ran two other companies.

Chairman of the Board and co-founder Ulrich Boyer thanks Östgren for his 'fourteen years of tireless dedication to Nepa', but commented: 'The company needs transformation and change. It needs a sales strategy aimed at a more focused offer to unlock the potential in our core offering and our underlying technical platform.
