UK-based research group Walnut Unlimited has appointed former Flamingo Managing Partner Anniki Sommerville as an Associate Director, adding to its qualitative offer and with a particular focus on family and child insights.
Walnut, which was formed in late 2017 when parent marcoms network the Unlimited Group combined four of its existing insight businesses, boasts strong expertise in data analytics and behavioural science, as well as consumer neuroscience research, works across retail and customer experience, technology, financial, FMCG, brand and communications. Sommerville (pictured) joins after a stint as Account Director at Simpson Carpenter Insights, having previously spent more than eighteen years at consumer and cultural insight agency Flamingo - initially as an RE, and latterly as Managing Partner, heading up the UK team.
In her new role, Sommerville will report to Head of Qualitative Research, Lyn McGregor, who comments: 'Anniki's skill as a qualitative researcher is matched by her enthusiasm and curiosity for humans: a perfect match for the human understanding agency. Having worked with Anniki for many years, I can testify to her talents and expect great things from her as part of our team at Walnut Unlimited'.
