Nepa Names New CFO and Investor Relations Head

Stockholm, Sweden-based brand tracking and consumer science specialist Nepa has promoted Ann-Christine Fick to the position of Chief Financial Officer, while Michael Wallin joins in the newly created role of Head of Investor Relations.

Nepa, which also has offices in Norway, Finland, Denmark, the UK, the USA and India, uses a hybrid of proprietary technology and expert local services, combining consumer feedback and behavioural data to help clients in more than 50 countries optimize customer experience and marketing investments. Fick (pictured) had a background in financial reporting and accounting gained at companies including Deloitte and Amfa Bank, before she joined Nepa as Senior Finance Accountant in 2016. She takes over the role from P-O Westerlund, who was recently promoted to the position of CEO.

Westerlund comments: 'It's a great pleasure to promote Ann-Christine as our new CFO. Her background in accounting and financial reporting and her role in preparing our financial statements for the IPO in 2016 make her the perfect candidate to take over as CFO'.

Meanwhile Wallin joins with fifteen years of experience as an investor relations consultant, gained at Citigate Stockholm and Hallvarsson & Halvarsson. Westerlund says Wallin's appointment is designed to strengthen Nepa's capital market communications, adding: 'Our relationship with investors is important. Building trust and improving our transparency will be important tasks going forward'.
